IT Business System Analyst
UniWeb is looking for an IT Functional System Analyst for business-critical Web Applications (CRM-style and business processes automation) used by strategic healthcare-related customers.
Tasks and Responsibilities.
1. Business Analysis and Product ownership:
- Responsible for business requirements gathering and analysis;
- Meet with clients to understand, analyse and challenge the business needs;
- Provide systems analysis and propose solutions to cover client’s needs;
- Analyse and describe the operation of existing systems;
2. Solution definition and UX design:
- Take part in new product development, perform functional analysis and design solutions;
- Define business (functional) and operational (non-functional) requirements, and translate them into system requirements (concept diagrams, activity diagrams, wireframes, ...);
- Apply UX best practices: finding the best way for the user to achieve his purpose. Business process optimisation, UX research and analysis, user cases and flows, interactive prototypes creating;
- Perform functional risk analysis on information security and patient safety where applicable;
3. Communication
- Communicate with software developers to find the most efficient and cost-effective solutions;
- Present the functional system requirements specifications to stakeholders, client and software development team.
- Products roadmaps creating & backlog managing. Sprint planning;
4. Validation and compliance
- Support QA to define the testing strategy, test cases and acceptance criteria;
- Ensure operation by training client personnel and providing documentation and support. Perform demonstrations and presentations for system acceptance;
- Build expertise in performing and documenting "design control" and "risk management" in order to ensure systems compliance with applicable health regulations and standards. (training will be foreseen);

The ideal candidate
- Master degree in computer science, management or equivalent by experience
- At least 3 years of experience in IT functional / system analysis
- Experience with Healthcare or highly regulated industries is a plus
- Passionate about best practices in system design
- Experience with CRM, business process optimisation, transactional websites, document management systems, reporting tools,...
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Axure, ...
- Good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch and French is a plus (written and spoken)
- Is a team player and feels comfortable leading meetings
- Is disciplined and has a get-things-done mentality
